This year Frontend United is happy to have found 2 legends, willing to share their knowledge in a as-low as possible priced workshop.

1) Advanced CSS Layout with Flexbox and Grid

A workshop with Rachel Andrew | Frontend United, Athens, 2017

This workshop is designed for designers and developers who already have a good working knowledge of HTML and CSS. We will cover a range of CSS methods for achieving layout, from those you are safe to use right now even if you need to support older version of Internet Explorer through to things that while still classed as experimental, are likely to ship in browsers in the coming months.

It will have a 5.5 hour duration with 3 breaks and it will take place Sunday May 28 at Impact Hub downtown Athens.

Rachel Andrew is an Invited Expert to the CSS Working Group, a Google Developer Expert (GDE) and was a long-time Web Standards Project member until that organisation disbanded.

You can find tickets for this workshop in EventBrite.

2) Data flow architecture with Redux and Angular

A workshop with Nir Kaufman | Frontend United, Athens, 2017

This workshop is all about modern SPA architecture, focused on popular architectural design pattern Redux. Redux, an architectural pattern inspired by concepts from stateless web architecture patterns and functional programming paradigms, introduces a unidirectional data-flow and a predictable state container that scales. It’s a popular, mind-blowing alternative to the popular MVC pattern and solves a lot of issues in an elegant and clean way. Through a series of live code examples, Nir Kaufman walks you through a complete flow of a typical application, using Angular as the presentation layer.

Nir Kaufman is a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in web technologies and Angular, worldwide conference speaker, workshop mentor, Angular evangelist, and tech community leader.

He is currently head of the Angular department at 500Tech, a top front-end consultancy based in Tel Aviv.

It will have a 5.5 hour duration with 3 breaks and it will take place Sunday May 28 at Impact Hub downtown Athens.
